The Stark County Law Library's collection contains books, CD-ROMs, microforms, periodicals, and online resources. The total collection consists of approximately 50,000 items. Members can borrow most print items for four weeks.

The collection focuses on legal practice materials for attorneys practicing in Ohio, and includes the following:

  • Ohio Revised Code
  • Ohio General Code
  • Ohio Administrative Code
  • Ohio reported and unreported cases
  • Ohio form books
  • Ohio legislative history materials
  • Ohio law journals
  • Ohio CLE handbooks
  • Ohio Attorney General Opinions
  • Local municipal and township ordinances

Online databases and programs include:

  • Westlaw including all state and federal cases and statutes, estate planning resources, employment law resources, jury verdict analysis for personal injury cases. Westlaw Ohio resources (including forms, cases, and the Ohio Revised Code). 
  • Lexis+ includes Ohio cases and statutes, Ohio Practice Library, Ohio Briefs, Ohio Verdicts and Settlements, all state and federal cases and statutes, Larson on Employment Discrimination, and personal injury library.
  • vLex Fastcase includes federal and state cases and statutes.  Library members can access these resources from their office from the member research page.
  • VitalLaw Online Library Contains primary law, explanation, and analysis of benefits, health care, human resources, Social Security issues, elder law, tax law, business law and intellectual property law.
