WHY BECOME A MEMBER?

Members have access to thousands of books, periodicals, and multimedia resources, in addition to legal subscription databases. Learn more about the databases available to members remotely on our Member Research page. Professional research assistance from library staff is available for members in person, over the phone, or by email. 

As a library member, you can opt in to receive our monthly newsletter Legally Speaking which includes information about new library resources, research tips, upcoming CLE opportunities, and more. Members also can request to receive brief summaries (written by law library staff) of recent opinions issued by the 5th District Ohio Court of Appeals.  To become a member, fill out the form and submit it via, email, mail, fax or drop it off in person.

RENEWING YOUR MEMBERSHIP

If you are not a government member, you will receive an invoice for membership renewal in December. To renew your membership, return the invoice with proper payment by mail or in person. Credit card payments are accepted (with a $2 convenience fee) in-person, over the phone, or on the Payment Portal.

  • Must be a member of the General Assembly or an officer or employee of Stark County, municipal government, township government, or court located within Stark County
