Directions to the Stark Court Probate Court:

The Probate Court is located in downtown Canton, Ohio on the Fifth Floor of the Stark County Office Building. The Stark County Office Building (First Commonwealth Bank building) is located on the Southeast Corner of Market Avenue and Tuscarawas Street. Across the street at the Northwest corner of Market Avenue and Tuscarawas Street, is the historic Stark County Courthouse.

From the North (Cleveland, Akron)

  • Take I-77 South to the Tuscarawas Street exit (Harrison Avenue)
  • Turn left at West Tuscarawas Street (Route 172 E)
  • Continue East on Tuscarawas Street until you reach the intersection of Market Avenue and Tuscarawas Street. (Central Plaza).

From the South (New Philadelphia, Cambridge)

  • Take I-77 North to exit 105 (downtown)
  • Turn right onto Tuscarawas Street (Route 172 E)
  • Continue East on Tuscarawas Street until you reach the intersection of Market Avenue and Tuscarawas Street. (Central Plaza).

From the East (Alliance, Louisville)

  • Take Route 62 West to I-77 South
  • Follow I-77 South to to the Tuscarawas exit (Harrison Avenue)
  • Turn left at West Tuscarawas Street (Route 172 E)
  • Continue East on Tuscarawas Street until you reach the intersection of Market Avenue and Tuscarawas Street. (Central Plaza).

From the West (Wooster, Mansfield)

  • Take Route 30 East to I-77 North
  • Take I-77 North to exit 105 (downtown)
  • Turn right onto West Tuscarawas St. (Route 172 E)
  • Continue East on Tuscarawas Street until you reach the intersection of Market Avenue and Tuscarawas Street. (Central Plaza).

From Columbus

  • Take I-71 N to Mansfield - pick up Rt 30 E
  • Take Rt. 30 E to I-77 N
  • Take I-77 N to exit 105 (downtown)
  • Turn right, continue East on Tuscarawas St. until you reach the intersection of Market Ave. and Tuscarawas St. which is Central Plaza.

Parking:

  • There is metered parking near the Stark County Office Building.
  • Two blocks east of the Stark County Office Building at the corner of Walnut Avenue and 2nd Street, S.E. is the Cornerstone Parking Deck with the entrance on 3rd Street, S.E..
  • Across the street from the Stark County Office Building at the corner of Market Avenue and 2nd Street, S.W. is a parking lot with limited availability, and with the entrance on 2nd Street, S.W.
  • One block south of the Stark County Office Building on Market Avenue South and between 2nd Street and 3rd Street , S.W. is the New Market Parking Deck, with the entrance on Market Avenue.
