The Stark County Auditor’s Oil and Gas Department is responsible for the entry and audit of oil and gas production numbers provided by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) into the Computer Aided Mass Appraisal (CAMA) system. With over 3000 active wells and over $10,000,000 of production value, our team works to accurately, and effectively, audit all production and valuation provided to us.
What Happened to the DTE 6 & 6A forms?
On September 2, 2015 the Ohio Department of Taxation issued a memorandum (pdf) rescinding the use of the forms and instructed the county auditors to use the values presented by ODNR. Beginning with the 2016 tax year operators will no longer be required to file said forms.
