  • Please use caution when walking through the kennel as the floors are often wet or slippery due to the frequent cleaning of cages.
  • Please keep in mind if you choose to interact with a dog, you are doing so at your own risk. If you are injured in any way during your interaction with a dog at our facility, The Stark County Board of Commissioners and The Stark CountySheriff's Office and it's employees cannot be held responsible.
  • Always ask the kennel staff or Pound Keeper for assistance, if they are not available there are usually volunteers throughout our building who can be identified by their red "VOLUNTEER" shirts. Anyone would be more than happy to assist you.
Thank you for your assistance!
