Online dashboard features COVID-19 and Influenza activity

An online dashboard created by Canton City Public Health is available for you to view COVID-19 and influenza activity in Stark County. This dashboard will be updated on a weekly basis to provide you with current data and resources from the Ohio Department of Health and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention.

The Stark County Health Department is located in the Park Centre Plaza at 7235 Whipple Ave. NW in North Canton. We offer accessible parking to our building and are located on SARTA Bus Stop 5331 (Whipple Ave. and Batton St.).

Door #1 is the entrance for Birth and Death Certificates, Permits, Environmental Services and the Building Department. Entering Door #2, at the side of the building, will give you access to the stairs or elevator to our Nursing Services and Vaccine Clinics on the 2nd Floor of the building.

The Stark County Combined General Health District (Stark County Health Department) was founded in 1920, serving the people of Stark County for over a century. The department is currently the ninth largest health district in the State of Ohio which serves the public health needs of over 250,000 people.

The jurisdiction of the Stark County Combined General Health District is comprised of 17 Townships, 12 Villages, and the cities of Canal Fulton, Louisville, and North Canton. The mission of the department is to assess, protect, promote, and improve the health of Stark County through leadership, quality service, and community partnerships.
