Canton Veterans Court Logo
The Canton Veteran’s Court is a Supreme Court Certified Specialized docket for veterans and active duty service members. Veteran’s Court provides increased management to Veterans and active duty military personnel in the criminal justice system facing misdemeanor conviction. This treatment program focuses on low-level, non-violent offenders. It is a minimum year-long program that collaborates with various legal and community organizations who assist veterans in completing the program. The Canton Veteran’s Court aims to connect veterans with services, provide supervision and mentoring, and use the values from their military service to support their rehabilitation and reintegration into the community, hoping to restore the Discipline and Self-Respect that they were instilled with during their military service.
